If you are unhappy with something you have read on this website, an interaction with us, or chiropractic care provided by Christopher Burdon at Active Health Chiropractic Clinic, we want to know. This page explains how to raise a concern and how to escalate it if you are not satisfied with our response.
1. What you can complain about
- Information published on this website that you believe is inaccurate, misleading or harmful
- The way we have handled an enquiry, email, or personal data
- Care or treatment provided by Christopher Burdon as a chiropractor
- The way an appointment was arranged, conducted or followed up
2. How to raise a concern
In the first instance, please contact us directly so we can try to put things right.

To help us deal with your concern as quickly as possible, please include:
- Your name and contact details
- A clear description of what happened and when
- What you would like to happen as a result
3. Our response timescales
- We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days.
- We aim to provide a full written response within 30 working days. Where this is not possible (for example because we are gathering further information), we will let you know and give a revised timescale.
4. If you are still not satisfied
If you have raised a concern with us and are not satisfied with how it has been handled, you have the right to escalate it.
General Chiropractic Council (GCC)
Christopher Burdon is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (registration number 03033). The GCC is the statutory regulator of chiropractors in the UK. If your complaint concerns chiropractic care, you can contact the GCC.

5. Urgent or emergency concerns
If you are worried about an immediate risk to your health, do not wait for a response from us. Contact NHS 111 for urgent non-emergency advice or call 999 in an emergency.
